Centria Healthcare has developed a comprehensive program to care for individuals involved in the most serious accidents with potentially long term complications related to those accidents. We specialize in working with Michigan No Fault to provide for all attendant care related needs and services and provide service to the entire State of Michigan including the Upper Peninsula.
HOME HEALTH AIDE
A home health aide is a member of the healthcare team who performs various personal care services in order to meet the client's needs. The home health aide is responsible for observing, recording and reporting all changes to supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but are not limited to performing ADL's:
Assists with bathing, grooming and dressing
Assists with toileting, including use of toilet, bedpan, or commode
Assists with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, wheelchair and hoyer lift
Prevent skin breakdown by encouraging movement
Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure)
Assists with medications
Collect routine specimens as needed
Assists client with home exercise plans defined by the plan of care
Observe client's physical, mental and emotional conditions.
-Report any change to the nursing supervisor
-Document observed changes
Measure and document intake and output, if necessary
Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation and clean up
Change bed linens and make up the client's bed
Maintain an orderly environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year experience
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Negative TB skin test or negative chest X-ray
Current Flu vaccine
CPR Certified

Flexible scheduling: full time, part time and overtime opportunities available. We can accommodate any schedule: weekdays, evenings, overnight, and weekends. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
